Code of Conduct – or "the Montex Way" Montex ' Code of Conduct guides The behavior and decisions of Montex ' employees and management. Montex follows the principle of good corporate citizenship and consider reliability essential for our business success and it can only be created if trust exists. Our customers must be able to have confidence in us. We must therefore ensure that our code of conduct meets high ethical standards. Our values are guidelines but do not cover all situations, they guide us in how we should act when there is no prescribed course of behavior. If There are any doubts, the matter should be discussed with a supervisor, who will decide how to proceed. We follow national and international laws and regulations and we comply with the ten principles of the UN Global Compact.   Mission We offer our expertise within logistics, assembly and distribution. Everyone at Montex must work according to the rules and maintain a high level of integrity and honesty. Our actions must reflect our mission and basic values. We expect management and employees of our company to act in accordance with Law and Company policy. All superiors have a duty to communicate information regarding the rules of ethics, and to ensure that these are understood and observed. They also have a duty to encourage and monitor their employees in relation to the observance of the Code.  No one is authorized to allow exceptions from these rules.   Business Ethics Everyone at Montex must refrain from actions which could harm the confidence of our business partners. In particular, actions that are corrupt or immoral are prohibited. Montex supports free trade and strives to reach its business goals with a fair competition, and shall always munin to compete in a fair and ethical way. We don't accept direct or indirect offers, demands or bribes of any kind. Gifts, invitations and private privileges must only be accepted from a third party if this would comply with proper business practices and does not violae regulations of Montex or applicable law or custom. Employees shall not victims, promise pay or give anything of value to representatives of Montex ' customers or suppliers in exchange for an improper advantage or other individual privileges that might affect any business transaction. Invitations may only be given or accepted in cases they would be within the limits of proper business practices.   Employees honesty, integrity, fairness and genuine manner are important assets at Montex. ALL employees are expected to have high standards with respect to integrity and quality in their work and in dealings with their colleagues, customers, suppliers, business partners and the community. It is each employee's responsibility to ensure that Montex ' reputation is never tarnished due to dishonesty, disloyalty or corruption etc.   Equality ALL employees must be treated with respect and dignity and offered equal opportunities for personal development. The recruitment of prospective employees must primarily be evaluated based on the person's competence and potential in relation to the tasks to be performed. Discrimination against any kind of employee, supplier or customer shall not be acceptable. Sexual harassment or discrimination based on gender, sexual preference, ethnicity or skin color, pregnancy, age, or religion is prohibited. No form of harassment is Fecese and the company and its leaders take active steps to combat it.   Environment We shall comply with all applicable environmental legislation and continuously improve our environmental standards through our accredited environmental management system.   Working environment Montex shall comply with health and safety legislation and other work Environment related requirements applying to its business, and maintain a healthy work environment, not only physically, but mentally and socially. The Company shall support and provide employees with an opportunity to achieve a good balance between working life and family life. Men and women shall have the same opportunity to a good career, equal wages for equal work, as well as the same rights to take parental leave. We shall follow law and regulations regarding working hours. We do not accept any abuse of alcohol or other drugs, which could be hazardous to health or may cause accidents at work.   Political activity Every employee has a right to express opinions or engage in political discourse. However, it is not acceptable as a representative of Montex to express personal opinions about political issues, religious matters or anything else that might raise controversys regarding our operations or which might affect our possibilities to carry on our Business and produce satisfactory profits.   Protection of Information Montex ' employees have access to information belonging to Montex and sometimes to third parties. This may include financial information, business plans, technical information, information about employees and customers etc. Unauthorized access to, use of and disclosure of such information may harm Montex or third parties. Employees are therefore required to be properly authorized to access, use or disclose such information. Whenever in doubt, employees must ask for instructions. Employees are responsible for protecting Montex ' assets and helping Montex protect its assets in general.   Conflicts of Interest the conduct of Montex ' employees in business situations shall always be oriented towards the best Interest of Montex. Employees shall avoid situations in which their private interests conflict with the interest of Montex. Any situation which may give rise to a conflict of interest must immediately be reported to and discussed with a superior.   Competition Montex complies with the competition and anti-trust laws in all countries it operates and does not engage in any actions that restrict competition. Montex will not discuss prices or other business terms with competitors, or use business terms that ensure respect the independence of its customers.   Assets and resources Montexs ' assets must be kepted safely and must only be used for purposes of developing the business of the company, and not for private gain. Everyone that have access to company assets must be aware that they have an administrative responsibility to the owners. Information that is created at Montex, including information regarding assets as know-how, production, expenses, prices, confidential information, profits, customers, business secrets, shall belong to Montex. All employees must be aware of and follow the company rules regarding such assets.   Reporting Violations of the code employees who are aware of or suspect any violation of this code are responsible for reporting such matters to their supervisors or the CEO immediately. There will be no retribute against any employee for making such report in good faith. Employees who viola Montex Code of conduct shall be regarded as cause for disciplinary action, including the possibility of terminating the employment contract.
